Strange pink/gray mushy-looking balls in tank...

I noticed today that there are 3 or 4 gross-looking mushy... forms... floating around at the bottom of my RES's tank.
They're grayish pink in color, and... I haven't touched them, but they look like they would be mushy. And if anything, they kind of look like organs...
(You can tell I'm completely grossed out thinking about it T_T I can't help it)
They're not as much "ball" shaped... looks like a mesh-up of tissue or something. I guess in the end, it's still more like a "ball". Not sure how to describe it.
One of them even has a long, semi-transparent thick "strand" hanging from it. The strand forms solid loops. It doesn't float around by itself, but seems stiff.

The things are about half an inch long. My RES is 4 inches (shell length).
And about my RES, in the past week she's almost refused to eat... I was worried about that, too. But today she's retained her eating habits, which is good. I only just noticed the balls today, though. Not sure how long they've been there. Otherwise, she's been behaving normally.

Any idea what this is, and if I should be extremely worried/scared? (I kind of already am)

Hard to say without pictures...

Sounds more like a fungus than anything - if it were organs, your turtle would not be happily eating today ;)

Its possible is puke - but the colour would be indicative of a food source - feed your turtle anything pink recently?

Any way you could get pictures of them? I agree it's hard to say what it is without seeing them.

Is it fuzzy? Were there any fish in there? If you see more, I would try to collect some for further examination.
