Any threads or links here to a basic "shedding" guideline? When turtles first shed, things to help with the process, when are timelines for basic turtle shedding.. Just anything that can help teach me things or show me things. New to the whole shedding process.

Make sure your setup and diet are correct and I just let nature take its course. I really don't think you should pull anything off. When it's ready it's ready.

There are a few variations in shedding but richieboy is correct, try to let nature take its course. I think lots of basking is a key requirement.

More of a when the time comes kinda thing? I keep the diet well I think. Lettuce, pellets, carrots.. Maybe once or twice a week I'll give them a shrimp / pellet mix. I try and mix it up with red and green leaf. Calcium bone with some tuna fish water on it ( thanks steve ). UVA UVB is set up nice, I keep the water decent. They shed the skin on their legs and necks.. Just havent done the shell and scutes yet. They have two separate basking areas both that very depending on how my AC is but never below 85 and never above 92

If the shell is healthy, it will shed pretty easily. It may take some time, especially the first shed, but shell infections can really make it difficult to shed.
