My turtle is foaming at the mouth. I'm taking it to the vet soon, but I was wondering if it could be harmful to the other turtle in the tank

I think if the turtle has possible RI it is contagious.

so what should i do with the other one?

Is the turtle swimming normally?

Foaming at the mouth is a sign of respiratory infection (RI) and is very dangerous and very contagious. The suffering turtle should be segregated from any tank mates and treated according. Consult a herp vet.

I don't have another tank :l is it okay if I put it in a little Tupperware container or something? I don't know what to do.

The vet isn't open until monday and I don't know what to do until then. I feel really bad for him

and he just sits on the basking rock thing, but when he swims he seems ok, just a little nervously, but he's always like that

Dry dock him, and rehydrate as necessary.

And it seems like he has trouble breathing when out of the water mostly

Dry docking is when you put them in a dark box or something with dry towls on the bottom for them to hurry themself in so they r not stressed out. U can leave a turtle out of water for a long time. Search the forums for dry docking and you can find alot of info on it.
