sulfa dipping hatchlings?

My hatchling may have a few shell problems and just to be on the safe side I want to sulfa dip him.

My only problem is that I do not know how to make just enough solution so that the hatchling can be in there comfortably. (In a fishbowl for dipping)

The box says to make a couple quarts, but I won't even need a full single quart.

What do ratio do you use of solution and water?

The stuff's a gimmick. I wouldn't bother. You could do more harm than good.

what's wrong with the shell? Are there dark lines between the scutes? Is it mushy? Is it turning a squishy white?

What shell problems do you think your turtle may have?
