Here is a photo. She was quite pretty until two or three weeks ago when she started shedding. Does there look like something else is goin on or is this normal shedding? All my others have had no issues. And strangely this is the first time she has shed in the two years I've had her.

She does have a few layers of retained scutes, so it might take a few sheds before the shell looks much smoother. There does look like there is progress with the remaining scutes. The appearance of the new scutes might be from an infection stemming from the previously retained scutes.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. Is there anything I should do to help along the shedding or treat any possible issue from the retained scutes.

If most of the scutes came off recently, I wouldn't change anything.

Thank you Steve. And yes the scutes started shedding 2 or 3 weeks ago. I figured that was the case but I wanted to make sure.
