Help !! Help !!

Question:
I have a young RES, about a year and a half-two years old. Unfortunately, I can no longer take care of her. I posted on craigslist, trying to find her a good home to go to, as I care very much for the little squirt, but the only hit I got was a mom that has two baby RES's in a 100 gallon tank. If she seems fit to take care of three turtles when I check out where mine will be living, and knows just what she is getting herself into, will mine attack the other two turtles? Will 100 gallons be enough for 3 turtles? Any other information would be greatly appreciated. I will not give up my turtle until I know FOR SURE she will be taken care of properly, and am trying to get a second opinion on the situation.
Thanks so much!

You can't predict what will happen. 100 gallons might be OK for a couple of years, but they will outgrow it.

There is a possibility that tank mates will attack each other, it depends on the personality of the turtles and size differences. It's recommended to have a spare tank and equipment if multiple turtles need to be separated.
You should ask what the Mom's plans are turtle wise, is she going to get more tanks or build a outdoor pond?

Another option is to see if your family or friends would be willing to take care of a turtle.

If you can't take care of your turtle because of money there are cheap alternatives. Buying a Rubbermaid is a cheap way of getting a large tank. PetCo also has a $1 per gallon tank sale up to 55 gallons which is a great deal. If you're worried that you can't care for a turtle because it's seems overwhelming I can promise it gets better and this forum is here for any advice you might need.

Turk's got some great suggestions there. Back when I was a young adult couch surfer my turtle lived with my brother for about a year, until I could set her up to live with me. Maybe you could find her a temporary home with family?
