Let's not worry about shedding... what's he been eating? Has he been basking? What does he have for UVB?

i feed him pellets mostly but sometimes give them a piece of tuna or some mango/strawberry and they just started liking the jello shots Yes he is basking more then peanut and i have a 13 W ReptiGlo 5.0 UVB

The lightness is probably from shedding. Continue with the pellets and maybe additional calcium. Try the 26W ReptiGlo when it's time to replace it.
