Well lately i've noticed pandora getting big, when i got her, she was nearly half the size of apollo, now she's slightly bigger. I figured she's been hogging all the food, usually put in 2 pellets for each turtle, so i've decided im going to keep them seperate when I feed. But the main issue is that her shell is getting foggy looking and the light reflects oddly inbetween her scutes. Also, i suspect some shell rot. When i baught her, she had 2 very small white spots on her shell, they haven't gotten any bigger, but was wondering if this is the first sign of it and if i should get her to a vet. Thought she might be shedding so i got a tooth brush to scrub her shell, but wanted to know how i should go about it before i try.

Thanks in advance :D

Can you post a pic of the shell dry?

When a turtle is in a growth phase, the area in between the scutes often looks whitish (this is where the growth occurs).

When a turtle is getting ready to shed, the scutes often become dull and whitish looking. After they lift off (let this happen naturally), the shell coloring improves. Could these things be happening to your turt?
