another egg question

About 2 months ago my girl laid her first clutch of eggs. I noticed she hasn't been in the mood for food the past few days so I thought she might be carrying eggs again. I felt the space where she tucks in her hind legs and felt something there but not very sure if it's an egg..

Anyway, my question is, how many times a year will RES lay eggs? I know hamsters can give birth every 2-3 months. So how often will RES lay eggs? Is there a season to it?

I tried checking for eggs once and it turned out (since her legs were retracted) that I was actually feeling her little "knee bone"
I think the bigger question is whether or not she is showing the typical signs of being gravid, as described in the link CactusJohn provided.

If she is not not showing signs of being gravid, and isn't in the mood for food then just keep an eye out for other reasons for loss of appetite. Some times these little ones go into a funk to keep us on our toes (sleep a lot, hunger strike, etc.). In these cases, the key is to look for physical or behavioral signs of illness. See - http://redearslider.com/index_health.html - for things to look for.
If no there are no signs of behind gravid, and no other symptom than loss of appetite, just give her a little time to chill and see what happens.
