How much should I give her ? She needs a good shed

I usual break off a piece about twice the size of their head. Once it stops floating I get rid of it.

You should have some in the tank at all times... your turtle will eat it when he/she needs it. I just throw the whole thing in there and replace it when it all gets eaten.

I cut it up in bite size pieces.. He loves it and I feed it to him every 2 to 3 days.

So I can put some pieces in everyday? Their is no such thing as "too much" cuttlebone?

Yes you can use it everyday, but it's not necessary in a balanced diet. So there isn't too much you can give, though always keep things in moderation and remove the hard backing.

The shell oof the turtle bone ?? I thought it was read to use or are you talking about the cuttlebone Steve ???

Turtle bone is usually the same as cuttlebone (just with "turtle" as a prefix so they can charge more). They almost always have a hard backing that you need to remove.

Yeah I know that charge more Steve but where I live there is very little pet shops and they usually don't even have fish never mind cuttlebone or turtle stuff !!!

Turtle bones are cuttlebones. They're the same thing, but one costs more because it's "for" turtles. Both generally have a hard backing. Any pet store that has bird supplies will almost always sell cuttlebones - they're in the bird section near the "treats" usually. They're also just a couple of dollars online.
