caring issues

i watched a video on youtube about feeding turtles vegetables https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... Rd3W_UKTXw and i wanted to know whether to try this way or not my first turtle is 5 years old and 5 inches and the second one is 4 years old and 3 inches (is there a growth issue? ), and i was feeding them cheese and found out it's wrong does that affect so much on their health? and when i hold my first turtle it tries to bite me is there something wrong with it?

Your turtles sound like they are on the small side, so I don't think they are getting the proper amounts of protein. Why you are feeding them cheese? Can you get them some proper turtle food from the petstore?

Cheese is not a good food for turtles, discontinue that immediately. You should read the nutrition section on this site and start offering vegetables and a good source of protein.

Some turtles don't like to be held, there is nothing wrong with that.

I'm feeding them dried worms,chicken and fish too but they don't wanna eat vegetables and I was asking whether to try this way or they are young for it?

What kind of vegetables did you try? You do need to re-evaluate what your turtle are eating.

Lettuce and peaches or pear I can't remember. Any suggestions?
