Soft shell and Mega-Ray

I ordered a Mega-Ray for my spiny soft shell's tank. As I have stated before, his shell has a bit of a curl to it at the edges. I have cut back on feeding and seen small improvements but am curious if the UVB has something to do with it as well. I don't have high lvls of UVB on the current light to be honest. I will monitor this closely and see if the Mega-Ray affects the curl at all. Unfortunately we have had high day time temps with the temps dropping into the low 50's at night so getting the pool water temps to stay in good ranges has been a bit of a struggle. So good lighting is a must till he gets bigger. And can go outside more often.

I wonder if shell curling is as permanent as it is for RES and other hard-shelled terrapins.

I'm not too sure not much info on it for softies. Most say it is from too much feeding with softies. But I'm curios if UVB has something to do with it. We will soon find out.
