is my turtle shedding

my girl is what i am guessing is sheddding the scutes around the edge of her shell and on the sides of her under shell are loose and kinda flaky and 1 came clean off in my hand as it just sort of fell off the shell looks good as it doesnt look nasty under the loose scutes any thing i can do to assist her in shedding thanks in advance

Sounds like she's doing good. You never want to do anything physical like pick or pull at the loose ones, they are supposed to come off naturally. I think lots of basking and UV help shedding the most. People seem to think wheat germ pellets help as well.

thanks steve but what do you think about the wheat germ the way i see it they dont have access to this in the wild but they do alright but do you think it helps

It's OK to add some variety, and koi-based wheat germ pellets are usually good quality. I'm a bit skeptical but it can't hurt either. Blueberries is another food people think help, but there is no real evidence it helps at all.
