Hey everyone,
I am moving after the first of the year from new york to florida. Raphael my turtle has a 75 gallon tank and a 20 gallon. I was wonder how to move her 18 hours. Should I dry dock her for the car ride? Im doing the car ride 6 hours each day over three days and using her 20 gallon tank for the hotel room. Or should I tilt the 20 gallon tank in the car and put a little water in it?

I know its still months away but moving her is my number one priority. Any information or help would be amazing. Thank you.
Amanda

No water at all during transport. Use a storage container or cardboard box. Line it with newspaper, clean rags, etc that you will change out a couple of times a day. If you are moving her at night, she'll sleep through it. If you can manage to keep her box completely dark, she might calm down otherwise she'll be active and will try to get out.

I wouldn't even unpack the 20 gallon during the trip, use a plastic storage container. When you get to the hotel, re-hydrate and feed her.
