I plan on going to the USMC. I worry that my turtles will die and that my siblings don't know how to care for them

First , thank you for your future service in advance with going into the USMC. Can you educate your siblings on the turtles basic needs so that they can watch them while you are in boot camp at least? If you get stationed here in the USA, you can take them with you but if you get stationed outside the USA, frankly it would cost a lot of money to get the permit in order to ship them outside the country and back. This will be a requirement no matter where you go or upon your return and I found it to be to much for my reptiles in the past. Unfortunately I had to donate mine to good homes. Kinda weigh your odds on this and go where your heart tells you to go.

I can teach them but they're very busy.

How much is it for the permit?

I don't know about a permit or if thats doable currently. RES are considered invasive by many countries and even states. Maybe a relative has room for a small pond?
