She does this in her tank! She has been doing this every time I feed her... Google has given me almost nothing. Do I need to take her to the vet now? PLEASE HELP! She has one eye closed due to vitamin A loss. :shock:

Any help would be useful!

Did you take her to the vet for the eye ?
The hissing means she doesn't like it when you approach her.

Turtles getting use to a new home are skittish to start with and scared. Having an eye problem he see's less and make him more scared. (hissing / snapping more) See only two post , if new with turtles I would see a Herp Vet for the eye ! May be diet related and that could be an easy fix but if other a Herp Vet is needed. Have any photo's?
