I have a pearl river map turtle and her beak is over grown. It hasn't inhibited her eating, yet, but I would like to help her wear it down some. Vet says it isn't bad enough to trim now and she's little(they don't get very big to begin with) and I think that's playing a part in her unwillingness to do trim it now.
Any advice?

I'd try some cuttlebone for your turtle to munch on, veggies as well. It's hard to know what will work especially if they are picky eaters.
