Blotch on Turtle's face

Hi, can anyone tell me what this red-brown blotch on my red ear slider's face is? It's been there for about 2-3 weeks.
She is about 13 years old.

Not sure, but it usually when it's that color it is a bruise. However, the location is a bit concerning since it's not really a soft-tissue area. I would have a vet check it out or at least consult with possible measures.
