Hey yall, i'm still alive, just busy with end of school year and such....now on to turtles

Every now and then i'll find Bobby trying to bite Tode's claws. This is Very rare, maybe 1 time every 2 weeks. I'm getting money in so i'm going to put them each seperate hopefully, once i get my parents good with it. One will stay with the 50 gallon, the other will get whatever i find on craigslist, which is getting cheaper by the day :D.

Sound fun? think they are ok for now?

: / Trust me, I'm having a claw problem right now. Separate them as fast as possible. Since turtle's feet go everywhere, if he has that open area where a claw once was, the chance of infection is very high. It's not a very pretty thing to look at either, and it's painful for the turtle. Get Tode a Rubbermaid container at least for now.

You haven't seen any missing ones yet, have you?

Separate them, it sounds like one is becoming territorial.

I agree, the rubbermaids are cheap enough that it can be used until you get the money and new set up together. Best to do that than to have to pay a vet bill for a chewed up RES!
