Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

I've recently began feeding Rush by hand, so the food doesn't sink to the bottem of the tank. Well, now the little booger is biting my fingers whenever I go to clean the tank. He's not doing it out of aggression, I guess my fingers look a lot like carrots. Anyone know how to help me with this? Thanks!

Try a plastic spoon or a wooden popsicle stick. Also try to see if he will eat in a separate container because that will help keep your water cleaner.

Take him out before you clean the tank & let him walk around in your room (close the door & make sure there are no sharp objects on the floor). Turtles love to go explorin'......
