Turtle refusing food....

I'm back after trying to keep up with homework and what not.

Well, over the past three days I've seen that the littlest turtle (3'') has been swimming away from me. He will refuse to eat in the morning, or if he is brave enough to bite the food, he will spit it right back out. I've seen him just hang around on the dock and sleep. I'm afraid that our packed routine will just about impede a vet visit, because pretty much the only free day is Monday, a school day. Unless I skip school, or my mom is brave enough to take Sunday off from her business (highly unlikely), the turtle will just have to sit and suffer.

What's wrong with him?

I think if the behavior has been going on for awhile, the vet might be the best bet. Has he had a normal BM in the past few days?

What is BM?

BM = bowel movement. Scripta is asking if your turtle has pooped yet.

Well, I'm not at home most of the day, so I pretty much don't know how its bowel movement is. Sometimes, I see little brown flakes fluttering around in the bottom of the tank, no way to know from having multiple turtles.
I will try to get vet help to see if anything is out of hand with all of the little green dudes  .

You could seperate your turtle for a day or two to see if he has any bowel movements. Or you could try varying his diet, maybe he is simply tired of the same food over and over. I've had that with my turtles where they will go through a period of refusing food if I'm not varying there diet as often as I should.
