Posted: Mon Sep 25, 2006 6:54 pmi have 2 RES one of them isnt scared of me but the other one is always frightend and always goes back underwater when i look at them, the only time they both come up is feeding time 
The difference in their behavior? Different turtles have different personalities, some are more timid than others. Food is a great enticer, and even the shyest turtle will be less shy if there's a chance that there's food to be eaten.
How long have you had them? How big are they? What size tank are they in?
