which one should i be using?

sQuirtle has been shedding (i'd say excessively) and from what i've read here, it's either from overfeeding, warm temperature or chlorine in the water. and i doubt it's from the first 2.... i feed him 3 pellets each day & the temperature is usually at around 78.

Water conditioner. The turtle can eat the sulfa block with is not good, and effectiveness of sulfa as a medicine will be impaired if your turtle is exposed to it constantly, then you won't be able to benefit from it when you really need it.

I agree Sulfa block is a medication used to treat fungal problems, your turtle would benefit more from a water conditioner.

As small as your turtle is you should feed him/her the amount that would fit in their head. (for that size 3 pellets seems like a very small amount) And make sure you offer greens in addition to the pellets.

well i used to feed him 4-5 pellets everyday with lettuce also. but he kept shedding, so i thought maybe it was due to overfeeding so i cut it down to 3 pellets. but he still sheds...

Has he been shedding like that for a while or just now? My turtle (who is 4.5") was shedding like that a few weeks ago. The vet told me it was fine and would stop in a few weeks. Two weeks later, and Tanner's shedding is minimal now.

its been a few weeks. he sheds, then it stops.. then a few days later he starts shedding again. but its not as bad as when it first started. when it first started the skin was like hanging off his neck & legs. but now its just like little minor stuff on his neck you can only see when you're really up close to him (you can only see it underwater - it's not noticeable otherwise)

I think because he's a baby he's just growing. My turtles used to shed like mad.

Sounds like normal shedding to me.

As long as the amount of shedding is lessening, it doesn't sound like you have a problem.
