HELP! My fish have Ich

My dad has raised fish for a very long time and I asked him about the goldfish in the pond and he said they have Ich. He has this medicine for it called Quick Cure. I put some in the pond and he said it won't hurt the turtle. I am still worried though she went right up to the stuff (it is blue in color) and I don't know if she drank it. Is it okay for her? Also, if the fish have a parasite is she okay? I just finished changing the water.

(Edited b/c I spelled Ich wrong)

Thank you. But, do you know if it will hurt the RES? Or would they know?

Me personally, I would seperate them, but I have no experiance with it. I know there are some turtle owners on that site so they might know or you can wait to see what the people here say.

I got a response from my local RES expert:

The RES will not be harmed by the Ick treatment.

Continue to offer her food but is smaller amounts and not as often. She will naturally stop eating when she feels it is time to hibernate. Make sure that she has a deep pile of leaves over her hibernating spot.
