hibernation

Posted: Sun Oct 15, 2006 10:57 pmMy understanding is, turtles in the wild have thick layers of mud to bury themselves in, and in a tank they don't have that ability. Unless you want a muddy tank, lol! When the temp drops too low it is an almost certain death for captive turtles.
