a while ago, i put my turtles outside in my patio in the sun for about ten minutes and when i checked on them. one of them had died can anybody tell me what maybe happened? thx P.S. i hadnt really ever put my turts in the hot sun but i didnt think that would matter

What was the temperature outside at the time you put them there?

...and what did you put them in? Was there water in there and how much if so? Was there shade available?

That sounds a little strange. Were either of the turtles sick before you put them outside?

Sorry you lost him. If it was really hot and there was no shade, it's possible the turtle could have become overcome by the heat and basically burned. It can happen very quickly...What did his body look like?
