Hi all,
I thought I would start a thread about books we have found to be helpful in turtle-raising. So dig out your books & start posting! Make sure you include the title & author & tell us what you liked about the book just in case someone wants a handy at-home reference.
I promise to dig mine out & will post tomorrow.

I have a favorite turtle book, but isn't a nonfiction book.
It's called 'Old Turtle' and it's by Douglas Wood. It's actually a kids book, but it's great for adults too. It gets you thinking outside the box. Maybe you think one thing, but did you ever consider another...
There is a sequal to this book, but it isn't as good. The illustrations are by a different person and that makes a difference to me too. It's called 'Old Turtle and the Broken Truth'.

You should check your library, almost all of the above books were in my local library, but then again there's a network of about 10 libraries that deliver books to each other.

After looking through a few books about turtles that had inaccurate information, I decided I'd let you guys do the reading for me and wait until you passed on some valuable information.
