Open-mouth breathing as in a symptom of an RI (respiratory infection)? It would be most noticable when the turtle is out of the water, on the basking area.
Opening the mouth under water to expell air (bubbles) is not the same thing.

Thanks. I really didn't know. Basically, when they were under water today, I noticed they kept opening their mouths when they were near the bottom, but not while they were basking.
