we have 3 res one is much smaller and now is'nt eating. i do feel though he responds to attention from me. i need some advice"}

how much smaller is the one that is eating? What are the sizes of your res's?

Are they all in the same tank? Are they fed together or do you separate them for feeding?

Does the little one show any other symptoms - breathing with his/her mouth open, swollen eyes, less active?

What's the size of the tank and your turtles (shell lengths without the curve)?

What are the water and basking area temps?

How long has it been since your turtle ate?

Is your turtle displaying any other symptoms---lethargy, frequent yawning, swollen eyes, discharge from the nose or mouth, for example?

he looks healthy, his shell is hard , we did seperate them to feed but he still has'nt eaten. it's been 2 days since he has'nt eaten.

we feed them shrimp and blood worms, what do you think will entice him to eat.

hmm.. Do you have any romaine or green leaf lettuce? You could see if he eats that. Or if you already haven't tried, you could try pellets. Other then that I think somethings wrong with him... I let the turtle guru's take over.

Something else that's smelly like bits of tuna/sardines (packed in water), boiled white chicken meat and/or something that's alive and moves---most turtles will go for an earthworm (if it's big, cut it into smaller pieces).

Two days isn't that long to go without eating, though. No other unusual behavior besides not eating?
