This may sound like a weird question, but I'm wondering how much Willy should poop. I say this because I cleaned out his temporary tank(still trying to finish cleaning his normal tank) yesterday, and this morning it looks like he has pooped ALOT!!! I can post pics if you want me too, I just thought that would be kinda gross...haha. I'm feeding him 5 pellets of reptomin baby a day(is that too much?), and I'm also throwing a piece of romaine lettuce in everyday (which he does eat!). Should I change anything? Could this be part of the recovery process from being sick?

Turtles do poop a lot... I normally feed my turts about helf the size of their head everyday. That all depends on the size of the turtle. I guess it could be a part of recovering from being sick but my turtles always poop a lot.

If Willy is less than 2", you can probably scale down to 4 reptomin sticks a day. I just started doing 5 sticks a day now that Siobhan is slightly over 2" long (Siobhan's head seems to be getting bigger by the day & that's what I have been going on based on what people say on this board...."feed the amount that would fit inside the turtle's head if it were hollow"). And yes, I also feed some lettuce every day too.

I seem to have the opposite problem. I don't know if Crush is pooping at all. I've never seen his poop in the tank. The water is not dirty at all. He's not lethargic, and I have read that sometimes they'll eat their poop. But it would do me good to at least see poop in there every now and then to know all is well.

Sometimes the turtles pick a spot in the tank to poop in.
They all so break the poop into tiny particles wail moving around in the tank, the filter picks up the poop particles.

Good distinction!

I feed my hatchling the regular adult reptomin so those sticks are obviously twice the size of the baby reptomin. On that note, continue feeding him 5-6 of the baby reptomin per day, and you can increase that amount gradually as he grows.

The poops you described sound normal for a hatchling. If you think he's really pooping a lot, you could experiment and cut down a little, a least feed less lettuce.

What's the water and basking area temp?
