Bad news... i found out Squirtle has a stomach full of gravel and he has a 30-70% chance of making it...hes on bunch of meds right now im really hoping he comes through this. hes on meds for a week then i go back and xray and if everythin is clear or is getting better then everythin gonna be okay but it not then he might not make it..

Oh man, im so sorry...dont worry though, he's on meds and that will help him fight things off. This is another case of what happens when you have gravel in a turtle tank. Is he still eating?
Im pulling for you and squirtle, my good thoughts go out to you guys!

Hm, i see. And is the other turtle allright? How would a stomach full of gravel cause him to squeak? Did the vet tell you?

the reason would be because the full stomach can be uncomfortable for him and for his sister Quinn i think might not be "as bad" the vet said but i didnt get her xrayed cuz she seems fine and healthy n everythin so the vet didnt think she needs one but imma have her xrayed when i go back

Turtles can be remarkably tough. She'll probably be fine but I think it's a very good idea to go ahead and get her xray'd.

Well last night Squirtle wasnt really moving much and was just hiding under his cave but this morning when i woke up to clean his tank he was very active trying to get out of his lil box that i had him in. i put him back in and he has been swimming around a bit and it seems like he misses Quinn but im not sure. he swims in the corner that faces towards Quinn's tank and Quinn swims towards his tank. or is that like usually or somethin? anyways Squirtle is very active right now i moved his tank towards a window. i know im not supose to but its morning right now and i have the morning sun shinning on it to give some UV rays cuz right now i only have enough for one tank so Squirtle's tank is a makeshift outta the plastic ben.
yes they are separated right now they were separated when i got home from the vet yesterday

I hope Squirtle gets better soon. It's a good thing you got him to the vet when you did.
Also, the UV from sunlight doesn't pass through glass (or plastic) so if it's not too cool outside, you should open the window to let the light shine on him directly. Just make sure he doesn't escape or a bird doesn't try to snatch him.

And keep an eye on the water temp so the sun doesn't heat it up too high.
