Anyways, growth rate depends. In a year a RES can go from 1 inches to 4 inches, and after that the growth rate tends to slow down. Click on the link above for more info.

Posted: Sun Apr 29, 2007 8:25 pmAlso, habitat and nutrition can affect growth rate, so if you're turtle came from poor conditions before you got him it could take a while for him/her to catch up. But 3-4 inches in the first year and roughly another inch every year after seems to be pretty standard from what I've read. My turtle is about a year old and around 4 inches so it seems accurate to me
