what's happening?

I have 2 turtles, and the bigger one is beginning to look very dull and stuff looks like it'shanging off her sell from time to time. And she feels kinda slimy but she doesn't have shell rot or anything. What's going on?

They shed their shell and skin. It may come off in flakes or the whole thing, if it is the skin it will be white, the shell will be clear.

Can you post a photo? It needs to be of the shell when it's dry.
