I was just wondering cause my sister has a turtle with Septicemia and I have a turtle that is healthy, I was wondering if they swam in the same tank just to see each other, would that be bad? I will be watching them the whole time they are together to make sure there is no fighting but the Septicemia worries me. Her Turtle already got some kind of injection from the vet (I wasn't there) but still.

I wouldn't risk it personally. Not worth it.

Why would you want them to 'see each other'? I'm assuming that they are housed seperate, if not I would seperate them.

Yeah if they are seperated I wouldn't put them together..... if the tanks are close to each other they can see each other fine our bigger RES can see our hatchings and try to swim into their tank all the time

Its actually because both the turtles used to live in the same tank up until we found out one had Septicemia, then the vet told me to seperate them until the Septicemia cleared up. They used to always bask together, it's been about a month and a week and they both don't seem to bask as much anymore. I was wondering if it's because of seperation anxiety or something cause I've heard of some people's turtles not eating when seperated. I have both UVA and UVB bulbs, water heater, etc. Both the turtles are about 2 inches long too, so I don't know their gender is.

Turtles are actually quite independant. Chances are, they are just adjusting to the fact that they have "more space" without any other animals wandering in. I wouldn't worry about it. Just take care of that poor sick turtle & keep them separated.

If the vet told you to keep them separated because of the septicemia, I think you already have your answer (and don't need it confirmed here). I doubt they have "separation anxiety." They're likely responding to the changes in the tanks and not missing each other.
