Do you think that this would be a good home for turtles?

As a photo it looks like a beautiful abstract painting! I'd hang it on my wall.

As a video I still can't tell much - it keeps moving around and is usually pretty blurry and rather dark and I never can get "the big picture". However, I can see that there are lots of rocks in the tank. Big ones and little ones. That's not good. Much better to have just a few of the big ones on the bottom to provide interest.

It looks good. But how many gallons is it? And you would need to take the gravel out.

20 gallons, i am getting a bigger tank tomarrow. And the turtles dont eat the gravel because it is bigger than their mouths and i dont think that they would eat rocks anyways.. it is just river rocks...not colored gravel

Well, when you get the larger tank, you'd be wise to leave the rocks out except for a few large river rocks. With the number of turtles you have your filter is going to have a hard enough time as it is keeping the water clean, and you never want to put your turtles in a situation where they could do something life threatening like eat small rocks, because they just might.

I don't feel comfortable about the pile of rocks in the corner, a turtle could very easily move those and get caught under one and drown. I also would leave out the gravel on the bottom, the turtles don't need it and being that your tank is so small, the gravel is only taking up valuable swimming space. Plus, it collects poo and whatnot and it's hard to clean. I wouldn't have it in there. Get a cave or log of some sort and it will serve as an underwater hide/toy for the turt.

Unless that one bulb is a mercury bulb, then I'm willing to bed it's just a UVA bulb, in which case, you need to get a UVB bulb.

The screen top that you have filters out a majority of the beneficial UV rays that your turtle needs to grow and digest.

yea, i just got a UVB yesterday, but it was broken!! i am taking it back to the store today to get another one. Also, during the day time when i dont have school and sometimes when i do the turtles are outside getting some real light in there little place there.

How was it broken?

I just opened up the box and only half the light lit up and the other half didnt

did you give it time to warm up? If it truly is broken, just take it back and exchange it.

Yea sometimes wheb you are using it for the first time it takes a while to get running
