Hi hi, just bought a Bio Wheel 350 from Marineland because my old piece of crap filter decided to die on me. Anyone know of a way to turn it down? It's shooting my poor turts across the tank.
Thanks in advance

I don't think you can adjust the motor. But are you using the mid-level intake stainer?

I just bought an emperor bio wheel 400, and i dont think you can turn it down, i havnt put my turtle in that tank yet. If you are using the mid level strainer though, im guessing if you close it it wouldnt suck as much.

The Emperor 400 does have a flow control. It is the little grey button in between the cartridges, right behind where the intake pipe goes in. The up position is "full flow," and the down position is "reduced flow." The Penguin 350 doesn't have this button, but it does come with the mid-level strainer, which if closed may reduce water flow a bit.

Thanks, I closed the mid-level strainer, didn't do much but I think it helped a little.
