How many watts should they be???

This is what I have.

It is 15 watts - but look at the % of UBV emitted. 5-10% is in the right range.

here is what I and a lot of other members use. it's inexpensive and was not a part of the recent recall scare. i've had great luck with them. i've been told that 5.0 is appropriate (not too much, not too little).

5.0 is not enough. it needs to be at least 8.0.

5% IS enough. It just needs to be at least 26 watts or it will be too weak.
That said I have a 7% tube fluorescent type. I actually have the same light and fixture as mat012.
