i have a 4 inch res in 26 gallons of water....how often should i do a water change and how much each time

What kind of filter to you have and how many gallons does your tank hold? 26 gallons of water doesn't sound like that much...

A 4-inch RES can produce a lot of poop. Do you feed in the tank? Are there other creatures in it?

just the res in there now(4 inch)......i put the tank together on what i could spare....i have a aqua clear mini and a 403 power head. THat I framed with plax. and added bio balls and foam pads...i had a gold fish in there but its out now....
