FULL TANK CLEAN

so im thinking of realy cleaning my tank extra extra good tommorow, i heard vinegar works well?
i have apple cider vinegar, will that work?
can some of you be kind and tell me how YOU do a full clean of your tank?

I don't know about the apple cider vinegar...I would use just plain white vinegar.
As for a full cleaning. Unplug everything...heater will need to sit for a few minutes before removing from the water. After that I remove everything that is in the tank and move it to where it is going to be cleaned. If you have a python, it's great for draining the water, if not, some other kind of syphon. Then scrub everything, rinse well, and refill.
Depending on the media in your filter, you may want to use the tank water to clean the filter before you empty your tank.

ok thanks alot!
but i dont think i have plain white vinegar, i dont wanna use apple cider cause the last thing i wanna do is hurt them.i dont think dishwashing soap is a good idea as well..hmm,is theyre anything else i could possibly use?

very diluted bleach is possible, but you have to make sure that it is rinsed very good and then if possible, let the tank sit for while to air out and the bleach dissipate.

I don't think that it would hurt your turtles if you use the cider vinegar as long as you rinse it well afterwards.
