I was spending more time checking out the artwork on the wall  lol.

I don't know what the old habitat looked like, but I like what you have. Do your turtles enjoy their basking area? I've considered an above ground basking area in the future.

Ever since we put the above tank basking area, it has definetly helped eliminate the algae growth in the tank. Before, the rocks used to be covered with green, but now the lights dont hit the water at all. You should definetly consider making one...it also gives them more swimming room! so thats a plus!

But anyways before i had a small zoo med turtle dock, and the rocks on the bottom with the two plants. Not much of a change, but enough to make a difference. :D

I really like the set-up, but I really can't tell what size tank it is. It looks pretty big, can you tell me how many gallons it holds?

I'm in the process of making an above tank setup much like that one... what are you using for the ramp? thats the biggest issue I am currently tackling...

the ramp was actually made using an old tool set plastic carrying case. we cut out a big chunk of it, and it already had the plastic grooves. then we realized even with the grooves, the plastic was slippery when wet, so we added the outdoor green carpet to give grip.
just find anything that is a strong thick plastic, and you can always add traction to it later.
