Are you talking about a dry area where the turtle could wander around and explore? A nesting area? Or an aquarium (wet) habitat?

Yea, the New England Aquarium in Boston, MA has a giant circular tank in the center of the building. It's 24ft tall and probably 30ft across and they say it holds 200,000 gallons of sea water. They've got dozens of large sharks (bulls, nurse, etc), moray eels, baraccudas, sea turtles, and all kinds of other fish. They say they have over 650 animals in there. It's pretty awesome. An old friend of mine used to volunteer there as a diver to feed the animals and clean the glass windows. Now that would be cool to have in my living room!

You might as well just construct your living room on stilts in the sea!

Heyyy, now that's not a bad idea...I think you're onto something there! :D

I got one better, how about a bubble dome under the sea! :D :D :D

hehe, actually, I think that's already been done. I hear someone built an underwater hotel but it costs like several thousand dollars for one night.

wow that big water room is SWEET. i have plans drawn up in my head for a sunroom/screenroom for the turtles, which includes a pond and natural lighting. all i need is the money to buy the house to build it in!

what type of space do you have to work with turtle lover?

We where watching tv and saw an ad for those above ground pools and it was only $400 and its 4 ft deep I thought that would be a great turtle pond.Of course it wouldn't have the chemicals that a pool has I would just use it as a pond.
