Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

I just got my red ear slider two weeks ago. he refuses to eat the pellets. At first I thought it was because of the absence of UV light and absence of a water conditioner. Even after setting those up he Refuses to eat. What can I do?

How big is the turtle? What kinds of food have you tried? Temperatures can play a role in appetite, but there are several other factors including what you're offering.

I'd try some live prey - most pet stores should have feeder fish like rosy red minnows. Hold it by the tail and let it wiggle in front of his face. Try to keep water temperatures around 80F too.

Is there any other way I can make him eat?

Considering how small he is and how he hasn't eaten anything the main thing is to get him to eat something. Then you can adjust his diet. You can search the forum for other ideas, but live feeders is something that usually works.

It doesn't sound very normal. Its difficult for them to survive without the appropriate habitat.

Do you hold it for him? If he's still shy or even weak, you will need to help him out.

You can mix the worms with other things, they sell calcium and vitamins that "dust" onto the worms. Also maybe try a small batch of custom food - https://www.redearslider.com/forum/view ... hp?t=17486
