Hi, just wondering if white radish/turnip is good for turtles. I know I can feed them the leaves, but wahta bout the radish itself?
I haven't fed them anything but carrots for the past few days, I searched the fridge and I can't find any lettuce or raddichio, so I want to know if this is good for them!

only other choice is tomato ( i shouldn't feed them too much of this), carrot (fed them with this a lot already), or bok choy ( i know its bad)

This is the only veggie you can give them? I suppose a few pieces wouldn't hurt, but it's really not the best thing to give. Can you just go and buy a small bunch of leafy greens?

I could but I didn't really want to drive to the market. I will pick up a bunch of stuff next time I go

also, I did a websearch, radish and turnips can be fed to the turtles, but like beans and mushroom, not in excess, they will cause some kind of illness if given too much.

yes, but not too much, it is too acidic

I wouldnt waste my time feeding them beans and mushroom. I would put more energy into giving them vegetables like collard greens, endives, red leaf lettuce. And offering aquatic plants like anacharis or hornwort is great, and much more nutritious.
