New turt - Feeding regime?

Now, my question is as follows:
She's been fed nothing but goldfish for the last few days (grumble at petstore), so I'm wondering if I should just feed her veggies in her first few days here, or try giving pellets to get her comfortable?
She's an adult, so she doesn't need as much protien...
