Baby YBS.. So What Veggies??

I have a baby yellow bellied slider who i have had for around three weeks now.
His shell is around 1-1.5" in length.
I feed him reptomin sticks throughout the day and have been feeding him mealworms but i have noticed he should have veg.
im not really sure what veg and how mch to give him
i will be happy for some advice

Give the forum a good read, this is a common question. Also, try different veggies if he doesn't take to any specific one.

Also, I'd skip the mealworms. They aren't very healthy for turtles. Here's a link on feeder fish and insects. It's an excerpt from the nuitrition part of this site, where you'll find almost everything you ever needed to know about feeding your turtle;

If you can, get some anachris (aquatic plant) for him. He'll enjoy resting and hiding in it and will eventally realize it's good to nibble on as well.

what other aquatic plants can be recomended for him?
ive heard something on here abou pyramiding if he is overfed what is this?

Just about any aquatic plant is ok for them, anacharis is suggested because it's cheap, nutritious, and readily available at most pet stores. Water Lily, Duckweed, Water Hyacinth, and Hornwort are also recommended. Pyramiding is a result of being overfed, particularly on protien. Each scute becomes raised up like a little pyramid. If you google it you should be able to find some picture examples. It also accompanies other problems you might not be able to see such as low bone density and organ stress.
