Sometimes I like to feed my Baby RES tiny pieces of pork sometimes(not a lot) but I always give it Reptomin.

Is pork bad for it? And are there other meats that I can feed it besides fish?

thanks for your help~ :D

Most people opt to offer very small amounts of boiled chicken meat or tuna fish. There are also canned crickets and live earthworms to consider... there's a whole section on the main site dedicated to this topic.

I don't see a problem as long as it isn't an excessive amount and it's cooked. Just make sure it doesn't get hooked on it :)

I'd opt for boiled white chicken meat over pork, and on the day I gave that, I wouldn't give the Reptomin.

Why do you think you should be feeding your baby meat? There are a number of other foods that would be better for him.

Have you read any of the information on what's good to feed your turtle? There's a list and a section dedicated to what foods to give on the site, please take a look at them.

Hatchlings are often attracted to foods that move and foods that have a strong scent. You might try pieces of earthworm, crickets, foods that would be more natural for a turtle to eat. Offering leafy greens early (dandelions, red leaf lettuce, baby collards, for example) for them to nibble on is a good thing to do. Read the info to get some ideas on other things you can give.
