Pretty much all my turtle eats is reptomin.

1) He wont eat the cuttlebone@!!!!!!!!!!! how can i get it to eat it!
2)What else can i feed him?
3)I bought rosie reds before from petsmart, i kept them in a little tank, and within an hour there were tons of little white wormy lookin things. Dunno if it was worms or crap or WAT!!! so now im scared out of my mind to buy rosy reds, but it would like nice to have life in the tank and give him something to chase and eat!

SO suggestions! HELP! AHHH

can you tell us a bit about your turtle and your setup? maybe answer the questions in the urgent care post you should read before posting?

If you can, you want to look for a good pet store that you trust. For instance, there is only one PetSmart and one PetCo that I trust to buy fish (among other things) from in this area, out of a total of probably three of each. I look for pet stores that have very clean water, no floating dead fish on the surfaces, a keeper that remains in the area and watches the tanks, as well as alert and healthy looking fish. Also, I only like to buy from stores that are exceptionally clean and well kept also. It's a very good thing that you put them aside for a while and discovered that before feeding them to your turtle. Also, if there are any local stores that you trust that are a major chain, they tend to have better quality fish because they don't sell as many. Unfortunately my local fish store only carries goldfish, no rosie reds.

If you look in the health section on this website (i think thats where it is) It gives a list of foods that you can feed also look at the jello shots sticky.

Cuttlebone depends on the turtle - my own will bite at tiny pieces if they are floating around his food when I feed him in the mornings. I have read other people have the best luck when they throw the whole thing in like a surfboard and the turtle can pick at it as they chose. Sometimes people try dusting the food but this is a tricky one because when it hits the water it is likely to get lost. Keep trying.. something will work!

Did you try feeding them brine baby shrimp?
I have rosie reds too. Dont worry about the worm looking things, its probably juste waste from the fish.
