I've had Blastoise for a while now and he use to eat the pellets and such before, but now he seems to have lost all appetite for them. It's been almost 5 days since he's eaten and we can't figure out why he's not eating. Help?

We've given him greens as well. (Dandelion Leaves, etc)

Did you notice any other changes in his health/behavior?

You can take a look at this page at the section about refusal to eat, there are some suggestions there.

Also, read through this page about respiratory infection and see if you recognize any symptoms that your turtle has. Most of the times a respiratory infection involves loss of appetite as well.

I didn't want to create a new thread so I hope you guys can help me out.

I have 2 turtles who were living together. Let's call them #1 and #2 as they don't have a name yet.

both are 3 years old but #2 seems a bit bigger. Both are females.

When they were together, #2 would seem slower and calmer than #1. Every time I fed them #1 would eat everything leaving #2 without a pellet or veggies.

That changed two weeks ago since I separate them, and now it's the other way around. #2 is super happy, eating everything, basking at nights, saying hi whenever I get close to her tank.

#1 hasn't touched her veggies/pellets (even a cricket I threw her today), basks every now and then, is afraid of any movement or me getting near, and is sleeping half of the time I check on her.

I already checked for a possible respiratory infection and luckily she has no symptoms so...

what could it be??

Mercutia, is it getting cool where you are now? If so does your RES have a submersible water heater in the tank? Does he appear alert and healthy otherwise?

Luis02, it would be better to start your own thread rather than hijacking this one...

Blastoise appears happy and his tank is warm and he basks often. There is a thermometer in his tank and the temp is at 24Celsius.

I've fed him worms and he'll eat those, but he refuses to eat the pellets and the leaves. Which is weird because he USE to eat the leaves, and the pellets along with the odd worm/cricket.
