Alright guys this might sound like a dumb question. My backyard is a little overrun by snails so i was wondering if regular backyard snails are safe to feed to your res or do the need to be "aquatic" snails??

One thing to consider is if any sort of pesticide/fertilizer/weed killer is used in your yard or any nearby area. These could very well be in the snail, and that wouldn't be good for your turtle.

Personally I'd be concerned with some kind of parasite problem, but I'm also paranoid!
