cuttlebone...scares 'em to the bone!

i just recently got a cuttlebone for my RES, but he doesnt seem to like it. when i put it in his tank, he swam away from it and acted like he was scared. is there anything i can do ?

Just leave small pieces in there. It won't foul the water, so you can leave it in there for a couple of days. However, not all RES have an interest in it, so make sure their diet contains some calcium rich veggies and a good pellet.
